Professor Thiagarajan Sitharthan

His former titles include Senior Clinical Psychologist (Royal Prince Alfred Hospital), Clinical Associate Professor (University of Sydney), Director of Clinical Programmes Development (WSAHS), and Professor of Clinical and Health Psychology (UWS). He is an Honorary Professor with the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, University of Sydney.
He mainly works with adults, the elderly, and adolescents who are experiencing a range of challenges in their lives. He provides non-judgmental compassionate care to patients when they need it most. His assessment and treatment approach are evidence-based, but highly tailored for every patient's specific requirement.
He has visited the following Centers of Excellence (Johns Hopkins University Baltimore, Clarke Institute of Psychiatry Toronto, Harvard University Boston, Addiction Research Foundation Toronto, Research Institute on Addictions Buffalo, and the University of Hawaii); and has presented his clinical and research work to fellow professionals. As a researcher he has received over $6.5 million in grants and has published widely in peer- reviewed, top tier, high impact, international and Australian clinical journals.
