Smit Patel is a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist who completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Gujarat University and also holds a a Master of Public Health at Torrens University. Since graduating in 2020, he has since gained extensive clinical experience in both India and Australia.
He has worked as a Senior Physiotherapist at NB Group, where he assessed and treated a diverse caseload of musculoskeletal, neurological, paediatric, and post-surgical patients. Smit has developed strong clinical reasoning skills and is confident in delivering evidence-based treatment programs tailored to individual patient needs.
Smit is particularly passionate about helping patients restore function, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life through personalised rehabilitation.
He has completed additional training in areas such as sensory integration for physical therapy, post-stroke rehabilitation and cupping therapy.
He also recently delivered a community health seminar at the Swaminarayan Hindu Temple in Kemps Creek, where he promoted physical fitness and wellbeing across all age groups. His approach is grounded in compassion, clear communication, and a strong commitment to patient-centred care.
Smit is currently practising as a Physiotherapist at Kairos Medical Centre and Eastern Creek Occupational Centre, where he provides high-quality assessment and treatment across diverse patient populations.
Outside of work, Smit enjoys staying active through fitness activities such as aerobics and Zumba, and he values opportunities to continue learning and expanding his clinical expertise.
